HOW IT WORKS
Three verbs. That’s the whole product.
Set it, share it, expire it. The only unusual part is the third one — so here’s exactly what happens, and exactly what the people who click your link will see.
01 · SET IT
Paste, name, choose a timer
The name is yours if nobody took it. The timer is the product: one hour for a meeting, seven days for a campaign, never for your homepage.
02 · SHARE IT
While it’s live, it just redirects
While the timer’s running, the click goes straight to your URL — nearest edge, no interstitial, no shor10 branding in the way. (HTTP 302.)
03 · EXPIRE IT
When the time is up, this is what they get
Not a broken page, and not a pretend 404. A 410 that names the end date — the only shor10 page someone else’s audience should ever see.
410 Gone.
This link ended 8 Jul 2026, 18:00 ICT. Nothing was deleted from the internet — only this shortcut retired.
What a click actually does
One lookup, then a redirect or a retirement. Counts and dashboards wait until the visitor has already moved on.
- 01 OPEN
shor10.co/spring-sale
Hits the nearest edge — no waiting page.
- 02 LOOK UP
Destination + timer
One read: where it goes, and whether it’s still live.
- 03 DECIDElive → redirect (302)missing → 404expired → 410
- 04 AFTER
Count the click
How many opened it, recorded after they’ve already left. No cookies.
Where a timer earns its keep
- 7d
Campaign links
The sale ends Sunday. So should the link — no more traffic landing on a dead offer months later.
- 1h
Meeting and file links
Share a call or a document for exactly as long as it should be shareable, then let it close itself.
- ∞
Print and QR codes
Never expires, but you can repoint it. The printed code stays right when the destination moves.
