Terms of Service
The right-hand column is the plain-English version. It is not the contract. If the two ever disagree, we wrote the contract badly and want to know.
01 · THE SERVICE
shor10 creates short URLs that redirect to a destination you supply, for a duration you choose. We provide the service on an as-is basis and may change or discontinue features after sending notice to your account email.
We shorten links and expire them. Features can change, and we will tell you.
02 · YOUR LINKS, YOUR CONTENT
You are responsible for every destination you point a link at and for the alias you give it. You keep all rights in your content. We may remove a link without notice if it targets malware, phishing, or material we are legally required to act on.
Your links are yours. Point them somewhere harmful and we will remove them.
03 · EXPIRY IS THE PRODUCT
When a link reaches its expiry time, it stops redirecting and returns HTTP 410 Gone. This is intended behaviour, not a fault, and is not grounds for a refund. We aim to retire links within 60 seconds of their stated time and do not guarantee exactness beyond that. We never extend a link past its expiry on your behalf. About an hour after expiry we delete the link itself, but we keep a small record of the shortcode so it goes on answering 410 instead of going blank. For a link owned by an account that record is permanent and the alias stays taken; for a link created without an account it lapses after 30 days, and the alias becomes free for someone else to register. A link set to never expire may still be removed under section 02 or if your account closes.
Links leave when you said they would, give or take a minute. That is not a bug and is not refundable. The 410 page stays after the link itself is deleted.
04 · ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not use shor10 to disguise a destination for deception, circumvent another service's rules, send unsolicited bulk messages, or load our redirect path beyond your plan's stated limits. Automated access requires an API key and must stay within its rate limit.
No spam, no deceptive cloaking, and no hammering the API.
05 · PLANS AND BILLING
When paid plans become available, they will bill monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Free-plan limits apply from that moment, including the 7-day timer cap. Existing longer timers keep running, but you cannot create new ones.
Cancel whenever you want. You keep what you paid for, and existing links keep their timers.
06 · AVAILABILITY
We target 99.9% monthly availability on the redirect path and publish what we have measured at status.shor10.co. That page counts the days we have recorded and how many of them had no failing probe: each day collapses to its worst reading, so one bad probe zeroes the whole day. It is a deliberately harsh figure, not a comparable availability percentage, and the page is not indexed. We do not offer service credits. If service is poor enough that you want to leave, email us and we will refund the unused period.
There are no automatic service credits. If we let you down, ask for the unused period back.
07 · ENDING IT
You may schedule account deletion at any time from Settings. Deletion runs after a 14-day grace period unless you cancel it, and short links keep working during that period. After hard deletion, every link you owned stops resolving and returns 404, not 410, because the account that owned it no longer exists. Cancelling starts a 24-hour cooldown before you can schedule deletion again. We may suspend an account for breaching section 04 and will explain why.
Schedule deletion and you have 14 days to change your mind. Links work until then, and return 404 afterward.
08 · CHANGES AND LAW
We will email you at least 30 days before terms that materially affect you change, and will send you any previous version on request. These terms are between you and TOMERA Co., Ltd., the company that operates shor10, and are governed by the laws of Thailand.
You get 30 days' notice for material changes. Ask us for an older version.
